Accent: Apparently mine is pretty bad, especially when I’ve had a few drinks. Sometimes I hear myself on m voicemail and think, “Damn, you can tell I’m from Texas!”

Book that I like: Anything by Laurie Notaro. Also, I’m a cookbook slut.

Chore I don’t care for: Doing the dishes. Scrubbing the tub.

Dog or Cat: Just one dog. Hopefully a 2nd one later this summer.

Essential Electronics: Cell phone, laptop (yay!), digital camera

Favorite Cologne: Vera Wang

Gold or Silver: Silver. I hate gold.

Handbag I carry most often: A J.Crew bag that I stole from my sister. She’ll never carry a small purse again.

Insomnia: Sometimes.

Job Title: Retail slave/slavedriver

Kids: Nope.

Living Arrangements: We live in a crappy house in a crappy neighborhood. I guess it could be worse, but it could also be much better.

Most Admirable Trait: I take care of people.)

Naughtiest Childhood Behavior: Hmmm…either stuffing my brother into a suitcase and catching his upper lip in the zipper OR tying my brother to a tree in the front yard and duct taping his mouth shut. If you have ever met my brother, he has probably told you all about both occurrences.

Overnight hospital stays: Knock on wood, none yet.

Phobias: Bees/wasps, death

Quote: “That’s what she said”

Religion: Not sure how I feel about that these days. I grew up Presbyterian. I haven’t been to church since my wedding and I really have had absolutely no desire to go back to church. What does that make me?

Siblings: I am the oldest of 3.

Time I wake up: Usually between 6-7, even on my days off.

Unusual Talent or Skill: I can memorize numbers (at work) like a crazy person.

Vegetable I Refuse to Eat: Cooked spinach. Nasty.

Worst Habit: The inability to say “NO” to people. It kicks me in the ass pretty much on a regular basis.

X-rays: I have had a million sprained ankles from 15 years of ballet.

Yummy Stuff: Mashed potatoes. Steak. Fruit tart from Central Market.

Zoo Animal I Like Most: I like the rhinoceros. My brother used to call them “rhine-horse-eros” and it makes me laugh every time I think about it. Talk about ACCENTS.

Anyone else want to play along?

My friend Aria pointed these out yesterday, and I think I’m going to have to order some. You can get them in magnets or stickers – very cute! :)

EarthExpressions on Etsy has some pretty necklaces for sale. I think I might need one of each.

I just love this “sweet” print from Orangebeautiful on Etsy.

I need to do some more etsy-ing.

I haven’t had much time to do any “window” shopping because I seem to be unable to say NO to people and things. It’s my own fault. I’m taking my day off this week to do whatever the heck I want to, and right now that is sitting at my computer looking for cool stuff that I must have. You’re welcome.
