Magnetic Bacon – for Penny!

I’m loving this stuff! I need to order a few prints.

Keep Calm

I love them and I have no idea why! I could wander around office supply stores for hours, looking at papers, pens, organizing items, etc. So when I found this site, I got super excited! I haven’t ordered anything, *yet*.

I could spend hours looking through this website and tons of money at the same time…

We need a new couch. There’s no getting around it anymore – it’s about to die an ugly death. Since we will be getting a decent tax refund this year, I decided that it’s about damn time to buy a new one (or order a new one, in our case). Here are the top contenders. Keep in mind that the fabric will be chocolate brown velvet. Yes, velvet. Or velvet-like. Also keep in mind that some of the couch pictures are squished so they fit in this dang blog.

“Quinn” sofa from La-Z-Boy. So far this is our #1, and also the most expensive (of course).

“Kessler” sofa from Rowe. I haven’t seen this one in person, but I sure do like it on the website.

“Berkeley” sofa from Rowe. Haven’t seen this one in person either, but we found a store that can order it for us :)

“Fairfax” by Rowe. Obviously haven’t seen this one either, since it doesn’t come out until February.

“Horizon” by Rowe. We DID sit on this one, which was a nice surprise. The store actually had it in this hideous orange color – who does that?? This couch is lucky that I took a chance and sat on it’s ugly ass.

“Peyton” sofa by Martha Stewart for Bernhardt. This is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for, but I’m afraid that it’s going to be way out of my price range just because that bitch Martha Stewart put her name on it. Boo!

SO – which one should I get? Remember, chocolate brown velvety material. We’ll also get 1 or 2 funky chairs, I’m not a fan of loveseats.

For the last 3 weeks, my days have been consumed with thoughts of healthy eating/exercising/losing weight. It’s become somewhat of an obsession – I have an idea of what size clothes I would like to wear (and yes, it’s realistic – I’m not asking to be a size 4) and when I can wear that size I will maintain that weight. I’m getting used to eating healthy, it’s not too bad.

As a result, I’ve bought multiple magazines for “light” cooking, and there are some pretty cool things in them. I won’t post recipes in here, I’ll post them at Lazy Wife, but here are some cool gadgets and thangs I found!

Le Creuset Dutch Oven:

Snacker Tracker – who gives a flying fart if it’s for kids?

Corn Stripper – no, Chris, it’s not what you think.

Here are some super cute V-Day cards for you to give to the ones you love, like or anything else. :)
